Life on the Farm

Ever wonder what life on the farm is like? Check out the posts below that combine a passion for agriculture and for others to see this industry from a different perspective.

Besides a passion for cooking, it only seemed natural to weave in my love for agriculture with this blog.

Life on the Farm

Growing up on a family farm and ranch is where the original exposure to agriculture first developed.

The love for this great industry, however, came from the experience of seeing a newborn calf stand for the first time or watching a tiny seedling be combined for grain at the end of the season.

It’s the effect this industry has on so many individuals that makes farming and ranching such an important part of this world we live in.

As I have begun a career in agriculture, this industry becomes more near and dear to my heart. All of the farmers we work on a day-to-day basis are true everyday heroes.

The following posts of life on the farm are meant to share my own love for agriculture and hopefully help you see this great industry in a different perspective.

Welcome!

Hi and welcome to The Farmers Wife! I’m Moriah, a full-time sales agronomist, part-time farmer, a passionate cook, and married to farmer in north central Nebraska.
Originally from Springview, I was raised on the family farm and ranch where I gained my initial passion for both agriculture and food. My growing up years consisted of helping my dad and uncle with both the crops and cattle, as well as helping my mom always make sure our crew was well fed!
