The Inspiration.
Until I met my husband, I had never even heard of chicken and biscuits. That was a completely foreign concept to me! My mom did plenty of cooking in her kitchen but creamy chicken and biscuits was never a product of that worn stove.
After Bryce became one of my roommates partway through college (prior to dating), all of us roommates would take turns cooking a meal each night of the week so we could have a “fam” dinner. This was a time for all of us roommates to hang out/catch up after a busy day.
It didn’t take long for Bryce to voice that chicken and biscuits happened to be a favorite of his. So running low on supper ideas one week, I hit upon his supper request!

The Biscuits.
Having never had it before, I was surprised at how well it worked together! With flaky, buttermilk biscuits that can be the carrier of vegetables and chicken in a creamy gravy/sauce, it is sure to satisfy even the largest of appetites.
While the chicken is cooking, I take time to quick mix together the flaky buttermilk biscuits.
